For many involved in journalism, the written word is the primary form of communication. This course teaches the fundamental skills you need to produce high quality copy that is informative, eye catching and targeted at your specific audience.
Training is provided by means of classroom teaching and practical exercises carried out under guidance. Sessions cover the characteristics of effective writing and how to communicate their message; the importance of having a good structure and headline; how to write good English and edit/proofread copy. Courseware and certification
Delegates receive comprehensive courseware to refer to throughout the course, and to use as a refresher following the course. Delegates also receive a certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed the course.
After course support
Delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from their trainer to help with any post-training issues.
When, where and how much does it cost?
Effective writing for journalism training courses are run on-demand, i.e. for you on a one-to-one basis, or for your group. This means that the course can be run on a date and at a location that suits you, which may be our training centre in Bromsgrove (close to Birmingham and the M5/M6/M40/M42 motorway network) or your venue.
