For years, Adobe InDesign has been the industry standard tool for designing engaging page layouts for print. The latest versions of InDesign now let you publish your content digitally for playback on tablets and smartphones.

We offer Adobe InDesign training to new and experienced InDesign users. We run the following course regularly:

Introduction to Adobe InDesign training

Duration

Two days.

Provides a comprehensive introduction to the powerful capabilities of InDesign, teaching you to produce pages quickly and output them reliably.

Course objectives

To gain a thorough grounding in page layout skills using Adobe InDesign, learning how to make the most of the power of InDesign to create rich, complex documents.

Who should attend?

Introduction to Adobe InDesign training is suitable for:

		Newcomers to InDesign, and users with a small amount of InDesign experience.
		People who have used other similar tools in the past, such as QuarkXpress.

No prior InDesign knowledge is necessary.

Adobe Digital Publishing Suite training

Publish content in InDesign to tablet devices including iPad, Android (e.g. Kindle Fire) and BlackBerry PlayBook. This course teaches how to produce cutting-edge interactive content, incorporating effects such as pan, zoom and pinch, buttons, rollovers, panoramics and so on. It then goes on to cover processes for distributing and monetising your publications.

Adobe InDesign - Beyond the Basics

Duration

One day.

Helps you become more productive, explore typesetting and styling in more detail and learn a range of useful tips and tricks.

Existing Adobe InDesign users who have either attended our Introduction to Adobe InDesign course, or who have a basic understanding of InDesign through other means, who wish to build on their skills.

Creating Long Documents with Adobe InDesign training course

Duration

Three days.

Course objectives

To learn about the features in InDesign that let you create and maintain longer documents.

Existing Adobe InDesign users who want to learn how to create long documents in InDesign.

General course information

Method of delivery

InDesign training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Class numbers are small (maximum 8 delegates), providing ample opportunity to discuss your specific requirements with the trainer.

Courseware, certification and trainer details

Armada is an Adobe Authorised Training Centre (AATC), accredited to run Adobe InDesign training courses. Delegates receive comprehensive courseware to refer to throughout the course, and to use as a refresher afterwards. Delegates also receive a certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed InDesign training.

Trainer details

The trainers for these courses are Adobe Certified Instructors and Adobe Certified Experts in InDesign.

After course support

Delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from their trainer to help with any post-training issues.

These prices are inclusive of all relevant InDesign training course documentation, refreshments and a buffet lunch.

Which version of Adobe InDesign is covered?

Scheduled InDesign courses are based on version CS5.5.

On-demand InDesign training courses can be based on any recent version of InDesign.
