Microsoft Outlook is the de-facto standard application for personal information management. Used most often for E-mails, Outlook also incorporates a calendar, contact manager, task manager, and other useful features that will improve the efficiency of your everyday administrative tasks.

Introduction to Microsoft Outlook training (1 day)

Provides a thorough grounding in Microsoft Outlook, teaching the key skills you need to use the application effectively. The topics covered include:

The Outlook interface.

Sending and receiving emails.

Email management.

Introduction to the calendar, contact manager and task manager.

Version: Training can be based on any recent version of Outlook (2007 and later).

Prerequisites: Delegates should have a working knowledge of Windows®. No prior Outlook knowledge is necessary.

This course is available on-request only, i.e. one-to-one training or a course for your group, at one of our venues or yours anywhere in the UK. Training can be based on any recent version of Outlook. Scheduled (public) courses are not available.

Advanced Microsoft Outlook training (1 day)

Covers Outlook's advanced features, and teaches techniques for increasing speed and efficiency. The topics covered include:

Advanced calendar, contacts and task manager features.

Personalised email options.

Customising the Outlook interface.

Version: Training can be based on any recent version of Outlook (2007 and later).

Prerequisites: Delegates should have attended Introduction to Outlook training or have equivalent knowledge.

This course is available on-request only, i.e. one-to-one training or a course for your group, at one of our venues or yours anywhere in the UK. Training can be based on any recent version of Outlook. Scheduled (public) courses are not available.

General course information

Method of delivery

Microsoft Outlook training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Delegates have ample opportunity to discuss their specific requirements with the trainer.

Courseware and certificate

Delegates attending Microsoft Outlook training receive:

A training guide to refer throughout the course, and use as a refresher back in the work-place.

An e-certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed Microsoft Outlook training.
