Introduction to online help development is a short, intensive course that teaches the fundamental principles you need to know to develop online help of a professional standard.

Please note that this course teaches principles that are relevant, irrespective of which online help development tool (RoboHelp, MadCap Flare, etc.) you use. It does not teach the use of any particular online help development tool.

The course is practical and 'activity-based'. Throughout the course you perform exercises to gain experience in the techniques taught. Further information is provided below.

General course information

To provide the knowledge you need to design, plan and write online help of a professional standard.

Who should attend?

Anybody who has been tasked with producing online help for the first time.

Courseware and certification

Delegates receive comprehensive courseware to refer to throughout the course, and to use as a refresher following the course. Delegates also receive a certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed the course.

After course support

Delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from their trainer to help with any post-training issues.

Where are the courses held?

Online help development training courses are run on-demand, meaning they can be run on a date and at a location that suits you, which may be our training centre in Bromsgrove (close to Birmingham and the M5/M6/M40/M42 motorway network) or your venue.

How much does online help development training cost?

These fees are for courses hosted at our training centre in Bromsgrove. They are inclusive of all relevant course documentation, refreshments and a buffet lunch.
