Revit MEP Essentials training for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing

Teaches newcomers to Revit the concepts behind BIM and provides a thorough grounding in the application, focusing on techniques used by Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) engineers to design heating, cooling and piping systems.

Scheduled (public) courses

Duration: 3 days. Scheduled courses usually take place on a Monday, Thursday and Friday. (Monday covers general Revit techniques; on Thursday and Friday you concentrate on techniques specific to MEP.)

This course is ideal for anyone who wants to get to grips with the fundamentals of family and content creation within Revit. It teaches techniques and best practices for creating dynamic and flexible families and content that can be used in all working environments, whether you're using Revit for Architecture, Structures or MEP.

The training is practical and 'hands-on'; throughout the course you create your own content that you can take away and use on your next Revit project.

Revit Migration training (1 day)

For organisations looking to migrate existing AutoCAD projects into Revit, transferring across project standards and leveraging AutoCAD data.

Delegates should be familiar with the fundamentals of Revit, i.e. have attended Revit Essentials training or have equivalent knowledge.

This course is available on-request only, i.e. one-to-one training or a course for your group, at one of our centres or your venue anywhere in the UK. Training can be based on any recent version of Revit. Scheduled (public) courses are not available.

Bespoke Revit training

Taking into account your existing knowledge, we can provide training that is tailored to the specific work you want to carry out and results you want to achieve.

In the first instance we will arrange for you to have a conversation with our Revit trainer; he will recommend the training you require and we will provide a quote for this.

Method of delivery

Revit training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Delegates have ample opportunity to discuss their specific requirements with the trainer.

Armada is an Autodesk authorised Training Centre (ATC), and our Revit training courses are accredited by Autodesk.

After course support

Following Revit training, delegates are entitled to 30 days' email support from their Revit trainer to help with any post-course issues.
