Autodesk Revit is a Building Information Modeling solution that caters for all aspects of a building design project, from conceptual design through the stages of detailed design, analysis, documentation and visualisation.

Autodesk has developed three versions of Revit for the varying building design disciplines: Revit Architecture is used by architects and building designers; Revit Structure is used by structural engineers; Revit MEP is used by mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineers.

Revit Essentials training (for beginners)

Duration: Three days.

Teaches the concepts of Building Information Modelling, and introduces the tools for parametric building design and documentation using Revit Architecture, Revit Structure or Revit MEP.

The first two days of the course cover general Revit techniques including:

		The fundamental features of Revit.
		Using the 3D parametric design tools to create and analyze a project.
		Construction documentation and design visualisation.

The final day then focuses on techniques specific to the version of Revit you use (Architecture, Structure or MEP).

The hands-on experience gained helps you to develop a level of comfort and confidence using Revit.

This course is suitable for new users of Revit Architecture, Revit Structure or Revit MEP.

Revit Migration training

Duration: One day.

Teaches how to migrate existing AutoCAD projects into Revit Architecture, Revit Structure or Revit MEP to work seamlessly with AutoCAD drawing files.

This course is suitable for users with experience of AutoCAD who have also completed the Revit Essentials training course or are familiar with the skills taught in the Essentials course.

Advanced Revit training

Duration: Two days.

Teaches how to use Revit's powerful tools and techniques for creating complex designs and professional-looking renderings, creating conceptual designs, creating and customizing objects, and collaborating on designs with other team members.

Advanced Revit training is available 'on demand', for your group. Three Advanced courses are available:

This course is suitable for delegates who have attended Revit Essentials training or are familiar with the skills taught in the Essentials course.

General course information

Method of delivery

Revit training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Delegates have ample opportunity to discuss their specific requirements with the trainer.

Autodesk e-certificate

We are an Autodesk authorised Training Centre (ATC), and our Revit training courses are accredited by Autodesk. Delegates receive an industry recognised e-certificate from Autodesk to confirm they have attended and successfully completed an accredited Revit Architecture course.

After course support

Following Revit training, delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from their trainer to help with any post-training issues.

Autodesk Revit certification

Autodesk offers a program of professional certification for which Armada is an authorised Autodesk Certification Centre (ACC). All delegates attending Autodesk Revit training at Armada are eligible to take an exam in order to gain 'Autodesk-certified' status for Inventor. On-demand Revit training courses (one-to-one or for your group) can be run on a date and at a location that suits you, which may be our training centre in Bromsgrove or your venue.

How much does Revit training cost?

These prices are inclusive of all relevant course documentation, refreshments and a buffet lunch.

Which versions of Revit are covered?

Scheduled Revit training courses run in are based on Revit , though the techniques taught are relevant to all recent releases of Revit. If you are using a different version of Revit, the trainer can explain any differences to you during the course. Training is relevant to users of Revit Architecture, Revit Structure and Revit MEP.

On-demand courses for groups can be run on any recent version of Revit Architecture, Revit Structure or Revit MEP.
