Martin was born in London in 1960. After his initial education he travelled widely in Europe, Asia and the USA before resuming his education at the East London University. Martin is qualified at national level in a large number of computing disciplines and holds a range of teaching certificates.
Martin started teaching computer applications 18 years ago, initially working for SCE and People in Technology as a full time trainer.
In recent years, Martin has run training courses for the majority of the blue chip companies in the City of London, including the Bank of England, The Stock Exchange, Lloyds, Goldman Sachs, Capita, KPMG. He runs regular courses for Warner Brothers, the Daily Telegraph Group and The National Magazine Company (Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Harpers and Queen, etc.) in QuarkXpress, Adobe Indesign, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe PhotoShop. In the public sector, Martin has run courses for the BBC, the Police, RAF, Dept of Transport, The Patent Office, National Archives, GCHQ, MoD and a number of government offices in Whitehall.
