Autodesk SketchBook Pro is a professional-grade painting and drawing application used by digital artists and illustrators. It provides all the tools you need for expressive drawing and concept sketching, such as pressure-sensitive pencils, markers and brushes.
Our SketchBook Essentials course teaches how to use SketchBook’s key features and tools. Topics covered include:
- The SketchBook working environment.
- Brushes and other tools.
- Using SketchBook in conjunction with AutoCAD to enhance your overall workflow.
SketchBook Essentials training is available on-request only, i.e. one-to-one training or a ‘closed’ course for your group. We don’t currently offer scheduled (public) SketchBook courses. We can host the training at one of our centres, or your venue anywhere in the UK. Please contact us for a quote.
The training can be tailored to take into account any existing knowledge you have, and the work you’re going to be doing in SketchBook.
Accredited SketchBook training
Armada is an Autodesk Authorised Training Centre (ATC), and our SketchBook training courses are accredited by Autodesk.
SketchBook training is hosted by Autodesk Certified Instructors, with vast experience of using the application professionally.
How will I learn?
SketchBook training is hands-on and practical.
Our trainers teach the necessary theory then demonstrate techniques step-by-step. You then practice the techniques taught on a computer running SketchBook.
There is plenty of time to ask questions, and you can take away all the files you create.
