AI-generated images are becoming increasingly harder to ignore. Midjourney, one of the leading drivers of this emerging technology, can create stunning original images from a short text phrase, known as a prompt, that you provide.

This course teaches everything you need to use Midjourney to generate images, artwork and prototypes for graphic design, websites, social media and pretty much any other purpose.

Beginning with the basics, you’ll learn how to join Midjourney and install Discord, create text prompts and view the images you create. You’ll learn many useful tips and techniques for getting the best results along the way.

Midjourney image generation training is arranged on-request, i.e. one-to-one training or a ‘closed course’ for your group. Your training can be tailored to take into account any existing knowledge you have, and the work you’re going to be doing.

How will I learn?

Training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice.

Exercises provide activity-based experience and help build delegates’ confidence writing effectively. These exercises can be tailored to deal with issues specific to your business.

You have ample opportunity to discuss specific requirements with the trainer.

Training guide and certificate

Course delegates receive:

• Comprehensive training materials, to refer to throughout the course and to use as a refresher back in the work-place. Choose from a printed guide or a PDF.
• An e-certificate confirming successful completion of a Midjourney image generation training course.

After course support

Following Midjourney image generation training, delegates are entitled to 30 days’ email support from their trainer to help with any post-course issues. For further details, see Support.

Expert trainer

Rod Cleasby

Rod has over 25 years’ experience working as a designer, visualisation expert and artist. His specialist areas include architecture, interior design and the production of photorealistic 3d virtual environments. 

AutoCAD, 3ds Max and SketchUp have been the mainstay of Rod’s professional work for 20 years. He is also an expert in:

– A wide range of renderers including V-Ray, ART and Arnold.

– AI tools, such as Midjourney.

– Photoshop.

Rod has extensive training experience. He has worked as a Senior Lecturer at the University of Westminster on their Computer Visualisation course, and he is a long-established Autodesk Certified Instructor.

Away from his professional work, Rod is an accomplished artist and musician, and a prolific writer of novels, novella, poetry and prose.
