Adobe Captivate lets you rapidly create high quality software demonstrations, interactive simulations and tutorials for e-learning that are accessible locally, via Intranet or the Web.

Our Adobe Captivate training courses teach you how to create tutorials and demos, and make the most of Captivate's advanced features.

Armada's Captivate courses are Adobe-accredited. The trainer for this course is an Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI), and an Adobe Certified Expert (ACE) in Captivate.

Introduction to Adobe Captivate training

Duration

Two days.

Course objectives

To gain a thorough grounding in Captivate. On completing the course you will have sufficient skill and confidence to begin creating your own simulations, demos and e-learning tutorials.

Who should attend?

Introduction to Adobe Captivate training is suitable for:

		Newcomers to Captivate.
		Novice Captivate users with a small amount of experience.

The course is appropriate for both Windows and Mac Captivate users.

Delegates receive courseware to refer to throughout the course, and use as a refresher following the course.

Advanced Adobe Captivate training

Course objectives and duration

To teach the use of the specific advanced features of Captivate which are of interest to you and your group. The training required can usually be provided in one day.

Who should attend?

Advanced Captivate training is suitable for:

		Delegates who have attended our Introduction to Captivate training course.
		Experienced Captivate users who want to learn about its advanced features.

The course is appropriate for both Windows and Mac Captivate users.

Course content

We don't have a standard Advanced Captivate course syllabus because of the different ways that Captivate can be used once you get beyond the basics. Instead we offer training geared towards your group, covering the specific items you're interested in, the way you use Captivate and the types of demos and tutorials you're looking to produce.

Prior to the course commencing, we ask that you discuss your requirements with our Captivate trainer so that he can confirm that you can achieve your aims and make the appropriate preparations.

General course information

Adobe-accredited Captivate training courses

Armada is an Adobe Authorised Training Centre (AATC), accredited for Captivate training. Delegates receive a certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed Captivate training.

Method of delivery

Captivate training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Class numbers are small (maximum 8 delegates), providing ample opportunity to discuss your specific requirements with the trainer.

The trainer

Captivate training is hosted by an Adobe Certified Instructor/Adobe Certified Expert in Captivate.

After course support

Following Captivate training, delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from their trainer to help with any post-training issues.

When and where?

Scheduled Captivate training courses (for individuals) are hosted in Bromsgrove in the Midlands, close to Birmingham and the M5/M6/M40/M42 motorway network. Click here for forthcoming course dates.

On-demand Captivate training courses (one-to-one or for your group) can be run on a date and at a location that suits you, which may be our training centre in Bromsgrove or your venue.

How much does Adobe Captivate training cost?

	Course	Scheduled (for individuals)	On-demand (one-to-one or for your group)
	Introduction to Adobe Captivate training course (two days).	£ + VAT per delegate.	£1,250 + VAT for the first delegate, plus £50 + VAT per subsequent delegate.
	Advanced Adobe Captivate training course (one day).	-	£695 + VAT for the first delegate, plus £50 + VAT per subsequent delegate.

These prices are inclusive of all relevant course documentation, refreshments and a buffet lunch.

The on-demand fees quoted are for Captivate training courses held at our training centre in Bromsgrove. Please contact us for a price for running a Captivate training course at your venue, or any other Captivate training options you're considering.

Which versions of Captivate are covered?

Scheduled Introduction to Adobe Captivate courses are currently based on Captivate 5.5. The course is also suitable for users of Captivate 4 and Captivate 5.

On-demand Captivate training courses can be based on any version of Captivate.
