Autodesk NavisWorks provides sophisticated project review features, letting you combine 3D models from multiple sources such as AutoCAD and Revit, navigate around them in real-time and analyse the model using various tools.

Armada offers the following NavisWorks training courses:

Introductory NavisWorks trainingNavisWorks Essentials training - introductory training for users of NavisWorks Manage or NavisWorks Simulate.

NavisWorks Freedom introductory trainingNavisWorks Freedom training.

Our NavisWorks courses are Autodesk-authorised, hosted by an Autodesk Certified Instructor with vast experience of using NavisWorks professionally.

NavisWorks Essentials training (2 days)

Teaches how to combine 3D models from cross disciplines into one scene, enabling effective review. This course is ideal for new users of NavisWorks Manage or NavisWorks Simulate. Sessions include:

NavisWorks training visual project model reviewsGenerating visual project model reviews.

NavisWorks training - TimeLinerThe TimeLiner - creating construction simulations of project models to check the validity of schedules.

NavisWorks training on the Animator and Scripter featuresUsing the Animator and Scripter features to create interactive animations.

NavisWorks Presenter featuresUsing the Presenter, adding true-to-life materials, lighting and backgrounds to project models.

Training on clash and interference tests in NavisWorksClash detection.

Scheduled (public) courses

Course dates:    

Course times: 9.30am-4.30pm.

Course fee: £ + VAT. Recently reduced from £595 + VAT.

NavisWorks version: Training is based primarily on NavisWorks . The techniques taught are relevant to all recent versions of NavisWorks.

Training guide and certificate: Course delegates receive a comprehensive training guide for NavisWorks, and an e-certificate confirming successful completion of an accredited NavisWorks training course. This is emailed to delegates directly from Autodesk. Click here to see an example of the certificate you receive.

Prerequisites: Delegates should have a good working knowledge of an Autodesk application, such as AutoCAD or Revit.

On-request training

NavisWorks Essentials training is available on-request, i.e. one-to-one training or a course for your group, at one of our venues in Bromsgrove, Reading, Milton Keynes or Sheffield, or yours anywhere in the UK.

NavisWorks Freedom training (½ day)

Teaches how to use the real-time 3D visualisation, navigation and review features available in NavisWorks Freedom.

NavisWorks Freedom training is arranged on-request, i.e. one-to-one training or a course for your group, at one of our venues or yours anywhere in the UK. Training can be based on any recent version of NavisWorks. Scheduled (public) courses are not available.

General course information

Method of delivery

NavisWorks training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Delegates have ample opportunity to discuss their specific requirements with the trainer.

Accredited NavisWorks training

Armada is an Autodesk authorised Training Centre (ATC), and our NavisWorks training courses are accredited by Autodesk.

Expert trainers

NavisWorks training is provided by an Autodesk Certified Instructor.

After course support

Following NavisWorks training, delegates are entitled to 30 days' email support from their NavisWorks trainer to help with any post-course issues.
