MadCap Flare is a state-of-the-art, XML-based solution for online help development. Help can be generated in a variety of output formats, including WebHelp Mobile for mobile devices. Flare also offers sophisicated single-sourcing, when both online help and a printed guide are required.

Our MadCap Flare training courses teach you how to work effectively with all aspects of Flare.

Delegates attending Flare training at Armada receive MadCap's official courseware, and a certificate from MadCap confirming successful course completion.

Basic and Intermediate MadCap Flare training

Duration

Three days.

Course objectives

After completing this training you will be able to use Flare to create a working help project with media-rich content and full navigation features. You learn how to use variables and conditional text to allow publishing in a range of document formats from a single project source.

Who should attend?

Basic and Intermediate MadCap Flare training is suitable for:

		Newcomers and novice users who wish to learn to use the features of MadCap Flare to create effective online Help.
		Those who have used other similar word processing and page layout tools in the past.

Delegates should be familiar with Windows^® and basic word processing techniques. No other knowledge is necessary.

Advanced MadCap Flare training

Duration

One day.

Advanced MadCap Flare training is available 'on demand', for your group. Three Advanced courses are available:

		Single sourcing. Focus on specific processes for producing multiple outputs from a single Flare project source. Click here for the course outline.

Advanced Flare training is suitable for delegates who have attended our Basic and Intermediate MadCap Flare training course, and for existing Flare users who are looking to learn more about its advanced features.

General course information

MadCap-certified Flare training course

Armada's Flare courses are MadCap-accredited. The trainer is a MadCap Software Certified Instructor. Delegates receive a MaCap certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed a MadCap-accredited training course.

Method of delivery

Flare training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. All delegates have access to a compupter running Flare to practice the techniques taught. Class numbers are small (maximum 8 delegates), providing ample opportunity to discuss your specific requirements with the trainer.

Courseware

Delegates receive MadCap's official courseware to refer to throughout the course, and to use as a refresher following the course.

After course support

Following Flare training, delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from their trainer to help with any post-training issues.

Where are MadCap Flare courses held?

MadCap Flare training courses are run on-demand, meaning they can be run on a date and at a location that suits you, which may be our training centre in Bromsgrove (close to Birmingham and the M5/M6/M40/M42 motorway network) or your venue.

How much does MadCap Flare training cost?

	Any Advanced MadCap Flare training course (one day).	£750 + VAT.	£225 + VAT.

These fees are for courses hosted at our training centre in Bromsgrove. They are inclusive of all relevant course documentation, refreshments and a buffet lunch.

Which versions of MadCap Flare are covered?

All of our MadCap Flare training courses can be based on any recent version of Flare.
