New DaVinci Resolve scheduled training course

We’re excited to announce that, in response to popular demand, from Summer 2025 we are offering introductory-level DaVinci Resolve training on a scheduled (public) basis 😀.

What is DaVinci Resolve?

To put it simply, DaVinci Resolve is a comprehensive software application that lets you carry out a range of tasks that would normally require the use of multiple applications. With DaVinci Resolve, you can edit video, create visual effects, motion graphics, animations, edit audio and carry out colour correction – the only software of its kind in the world.

With a user-friendly and modern user interface and cross-platform support (Windows, Mac and even Linux compatible)… it’s fair to say that DaVinci Resolve has rapidly become a bit of a powerhouse in the world of video and animation.

Unlike most other creative and design applications, the free version of DaVinci resolve offers a massive range of functionality. So, for a lot of users, there’s no need to subscribe to the paid version. In fact, the free version offers so many features that you can carry out everything covered in our Introduction to DaVinci Resolve course using this edition 🤯!

Introduction to DaVinci Resolve (2 days)

Designed for beginners and those with limited experience, this course gets you started with DaVinci Resolve, teaching how to carry out key tasks. After familiarising you with the Resolve user interface (UI), we quickly move on to cover:

  • Basic video editing
  • Getting started with visual effects
  • Basic audio editing
  • Basic colour correction
  • Saving and delivery.

The course is really hands-on and practical; our expert trainers will teach the necessary theory then demonstrate techniques step-by-step. You then practice the techniques taught on a computer running DaVinci Resolve.

You’ll have plenty of opportunities to ask questions.

When and where?

Our first scheduled course is taking place on 17-18 June at our Bromsgrove centre; with the option to participate live online.
