Meet our Operations Team

Our Bromsgrove head office is very much the Armada hub, where our team of dedicated staff take care of absolutely everything to do with making sure each course runs as smoothly as possible.

The biggest team here in the office is our Operations Team, and it’s the staff in this team that have the most contact with delegates attending training, so I thought it would be a good idea to introduce you the team…

Emily Brooke – Operations Manager

Emily Brookes – Operations Manager Hi, I’m Emily and I’m the Operations Manager here at Armada, currently working three days a week. I’ve been with the company for nine years now, so I’m basically part of the furniture at this point 😂! Before joining Armada, I worked in the car industry and trained as a beauty therapist, although those days feel like a lifetime ago now!

My role is incredibly varied, which keeps things interesting. I help manage stock levels across our centres, book accommodation for our trainers and arrange some of our ‘on-request’ courses. I’ve also recently started getting involved with the payroll and accounts side of the business, so there’s always something new to learn and do.

Outside of work, I’m a mum to two crazy young boys, so we’re usually at a farm or park somewhere! They certainly keep me busy. I’m a big foodie so love going for meals whenever I get the chance. I also enjoy sunny family holidays and trips to Center Parcs 😊.

Emma Millward – Operations Team Leader

Emma Milward – Operations Team LeaderI started at Armada in 2022 as a Training Co-ordinator, and became Operations Team Leader early 2024. My role is really quite varied but my main duties include organising and leading our Operations team, to ensure things run as smoothly as possible for both our scheduled and ‘on-request’ courses. It’s ultimately my responsibility to ensure everyone (colleagues and delegates) know where they need to be, and have everything they need 😬! And if you ever decide to take an exam, you’ll most likely see my face as your proctor, backing you all the way 😊.

My unofficial position at Armada is ‘Social Secretary’, as I love organising our Christmas parties and other social get-togethers🎉🍾.

Pre-Armada, I was a hairdresser and loved chatting to people all day and helping them feel their best. That love for great conversation and making others feel good has definitely carried over into what I do now.

Outside of work you’ll usually find me at the gym, going for walks or checking out new restaurants🍜🥗🥘

Molly Allison – Training Co-ordinator

Molly Allison – Training Co-ordinatorHi, my name’s Molly and I’m a Training Co-ordinator here at Armada. I do everything from processing bookings made on our website, by email or over the phone, to generating course completion certificates and sending delegates their joining instructions.

Another one of my responsibilities is to ensure all online delegates have everything they need in place ahead of their course. If you’re participating in an online course, you’ll most likely hear from me via email or over the phone, and I’m always on hand to assist 😊.

My life before Armada looked very different. I was a flight attendant for the first couple years of my adulthood, and this is where my passion for travel comes from. So, if I’m not at work, it usually means I’m on holiday somewhere sunny 🌞.

Beth Mitchell – Technical and Marketing Administrator

Beth Mitchell – Technical and Marketing AdministratorAs Armada’s Technical and Marketing Administrator, one of my key responsibilities is to look after the computers at our centres – keeping them up to date and setting them up for each course. That’s no mean feat when we have around 150 computers around the company!

I’m also involved with the marketing and social media work, putting my degree to good use!

Pre-Armada, I was a baker with my own little business. I made everything from wedding cakes and celebration cakes to scones and cupcakes. If it had sugar in, I made it.

Outside of work, I love a good adventure. Spontaneous trips to the seaside when the weather allows, walks through the countryside and a beer at the end. I also love a good series to watch or a book to read.

Lydia Cox – Training Co-ordinator

Lydia is one of our training co-ordinators, starting with us in early 2024.

Lydia is currently on maternity leave, but when she is in the office, she works closely alongside Molly, playing a key role in making sure each delegate is booked onto the correct course, and has all the necessary things in place.

Lyndsay Mann - Sales and Marketing Administrator at Armada

About the author

Lyndsay Mann is Armada’s Training Manager. Having started with Armada back in 2019, she is often the person behind our website live chat and usually the voice at the end of inbound phone calls. When not responding to queries from perspective clients, Lyndsay is responsible for the general day-to-day running of operations at Armada, both at ‘HQ’ and our eight training facilities. Lyndsay has had a varied career. With various Equestrian qualifications, she spent much of her prior professional life managing busy competition stables in the UK and across Europe. Away from Armada, Lyndsay loves to travel, has a passion for horse racing and exercising. However, being a mum often takes centre stage these days!
