SolidWorks Essentials training - CAD01 (3 days)

Provides a thorough grounding in SolidWorks for beginners, teaching everything you need to know to build parametric models of parts and assemblies. This course is ideal for newcomers to SolidWorks, and users familiar with a different 3D modelling tool looking to migrate to SolidWorks.

Prerequisites: Some past mechanical design experience is useful but not essential. Experience working with a 2D CAD tool is not required.

SolidWorks Drawings and Detailing training - CAD02 (2 days)

Building on basic SolidWorks skills, this course teaches how to make detailed drawings of SolidWorks parts and assemblies. Topics covered include drawing sheets and views, assembly drawing views, bills of materials and tables, and annotations.

SolidWorks Advanced Part Modelling training - CAD03 (2 days)

This course is for existing SolidWorks users who want to take full advantage of SolidWorks' part modelling capabilities and become more productive using the application. Topics covered include using multibody solids, sweeping, lofting features and advanced shaping functionality.

Provides a through grounding in the skills you need to design and build freeform shapes using SolidWorks. Topics covered include solid-Surface hybrid modelling, repairing and editing imported geometry, blends and patches and master model techniques.

General course information

Method of delivery

SolidWorks training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Delegates have ample opportunity to discuss their specific requirements with the trainer.

Courseware and certificate

All courses are SolidWorks-certified. Delegates receive A comprehensive training guide to refer to throughout the course, and to use as a refresher afterwards. Delegates receive a certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed SolidWorks training.

Expert trainers

SolidWorks training is a specialist area. In order to ensure that our trainers have the level of knowledge and experience that is essential, we provide this training in collaboration with NT CADCAM who introduced SolidWorks 3D CAD design and modelling software to the UK market in 1996 and have over 17 years' SolidWorks experience.

After course support

Following SolidWorks training, delegates are entitled to 30 days support by email to help with any post-course issues.
