Armada's RoboHelp courses are Adobe-accredited. The trainer for these courses, David Rose, is an Adobe Certified Expert in RoboHelp, and an Adobe Certified Instructor. As well as working as a trainer, David has vast experience using RoboHelp as a technical author within Armada's in-house technical authoring team. Basic and Intermediate Adobe RoboHelp training
Duration
Two days.
Course objectives
To gain a thorough grounding in Adobe RoboHelp. On completing RoboHelp training you will be able to develop online help in a variety of formats, and produce high quality printed documentation (Word format) from your RoboHelp project.
The course is short, intensive and practical. Beginning from scratch, delegates are taken through the various stages involved in developing online help, exploring all related topics along the way. By the end of the course, you will have created your own fully functional help centre that you can take away for future reference.

Advanced RoboHelp training is suitable for delegates who have attended our Basic and Intermediate Adobe RoboHelp training course, and experienced RoboHelp users who are looking to learn about its advanced features.
Advanced RoboHelp training courses are scheduled to follow each Basic and Intermediate Adobe RoboHelp training course, so delegates have the option of attending Basic, Intermediate and Advanced RoboHelp training in three consecutive days.

Getting started with RoboSource training
Duration
One day.
Course objectives
Teaches how to work on RoboHelp projects linked to a RoboSource database in a multi-author environment. Topics covered include the installation and configuration of a RoboSource database, the procedures for technical authors to check files in and out and version control.
Who should attend?
Technical authors using Adobe RoboHelp in a multi-author environment.
Pre-requisites
A good general working knowledge of RoboHelp (not necessarily advanced).

General course information
Adobe-accredited RoboHelp training course
Armada is an Adobe Authorised Training Centre (AATC), accredited for RoboHelp training. Delegates also receive a certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed RoboHelp training.
Method of delivery
RoboHelp training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Class numbers are small (maximum 8 delegates), providing ample opportunity to discuss your specific requirements with the trainer.
The trainer
RoboHelp training is hosted by an Adobe Certified Instructor and Adobe Certified Expert in RoboHelp, with significant experience working as a technical author using RoboHelp for online help development and single source projects.
Courseware
Delegates receive comprehensive courseware to refer to throughout the course, and to use as a refresher following the course.
After course support
Following RoboHelp training, delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from their trainer to help with any post-training issues.

Which versions of Adobe RoboHelp are covered?
Scheduled Basic and Intermediate Adobe RoboHelp training courses are based on RoboHelp 9 (as contained in Adobe Technical Communication Suite 3 and 3.5). Most of the techniques taught in this course are also relevant to RoboHelp 7 and RoboHelp 8.
On-demand RoboHelp training courses can be based on any recent version of RoboHelp (X5 and later).
Advanced Adobe RoboHelp training courses are available for RoboHelp 8 and 9.
RoboSource training courses are based on RoboSource Control 3.1.
Mix and match courses
We offer a one day Online help development course, which covers appropriate writing styles and techniques for authoring online help. You can combine this course with an Introduction to RoboHelp training course for a comprehensive grounding in both online help writing theory and the practicalities of generating help using RoboHelp.
