Who should attend?

This course is ideal for:

  • Architects and building designers.
  • Structural engineers.
  • General users.

If you’re going to be using Revit for Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing, see Revit MEP Essentials.

Accredited Revit training

Armada is an Autodesk Authorised Training Centre (ATC), and our Revit training courses are accredited by Autodesk.

Revit courses are hosted by Autodesk Certified Instructors, with vast experience of using the application professionally. For details, see Expert trainers.

How will I learn?

Revit training is hands-on and practical.

Our trainers teach the necessary theory then demonstrate techniques step-by-step. You then practice the techniques taught on a computer running Revit.

There is plenty of time to ask questions, and you can take away all the files you create.

Revit training guide and certificate

Course delegates receive:

  • A highly-practical training guide for Revit Architecture or Revit Structures, depending on the area you want to focus on. You’ll refer to this throughout the course, and it will provide a useful refresher afterwards.
  • An e-certificate confirming successful completion of an accredited Revit training course. Click here to see an example of the certificate you receive.

Revit certification exams

When you attend Revit training, you’re not assessed and there is no exam to sit. We teach you practical skills you can use in the real world, not prepare you to sit a test.

If you want to gain an industry-recognised credential in Revit, we offer an Autodesk certification exam that you can sit on a future date.

Exams are sat online, from your place of work or home. For further details, see Certification exam.

After course support

Following Revit training, delegates are entitled to 30 days’ email support from their Revit trainer to help with any post-course issues. For further details, see Support.

Prerequisites

No prior Revit knowledge is necessary.

Delegates should have a basic understanding of construction principles. If you don’t have this knowledge, we can recommend a book to read ahead of your course.

Experience using a CAD application such as AutoCAD is beneficial, but not essential.

Revit version

Training is based primarily on Revit 2024.

It is relevant to users of Revit and Revit LT, version 2020 or later.

Our guarantees to you

We offer:

“I had a lot of fun learning this brilliant software. The pace of the learning process was ideal and I feel I have come a long way since Wednesday. I have tried learning Autodesk Software on my own using online resources prior to this course but often found myself a little lost. Having a competent professional teaching this particualr software and condensing so much into 3 days was far more effective and certainly worth the price. I shall be reccomending this training facility.”

“Great course. Totally different approach to the software; I feel I have gained more knowledge and there is not the same pressure to participate in every aspect of the teaching - observation can be as beneficial as active participation. Many thanks!”

“Martin clearly has expert knowledge and was able to teach us very effectively. His ability to not only to teach us how to use the software but also help us to decide how best to use it within our business made his training very effective and enjoyable.”

“Many thanks to Martin and yourself for providing Revit training earlier this week. The course was professionally run, very informative with good take home documentation and a top buffet! We will certainly consider yourselves for any CAD training required in the future.”

“Just a quick note of thanks, for the Revit Essentials course I attended earlier this week. As you can imagine I have attended many training courses over the years, but I must say I came away from your course, having learnt a great deal more than past courses I have attended with other trainer's, not only was the structure of the course excellent, but your experience and knowledge in the software is of the same excellent standard. Which all in all, made for an excellently delivered training course.”

Tony S

“Martin was a fantastic instructor. Very patient and answered all and any questions we had straight away in an easy to understand dialogue. If you still wasn't sure he was willing to show you multiple times if necessary and even come to your screen (one on one).”

“The course was so good it enabled me to give a very successful 1hr long hands on cpd to my office and directors on Revit. Will recommend your courses in future. Martin was very good.”
