For 25 years Adobe Photoshop has been the de facto standard for high-end image creation, editing and manipulation.

Armada offers Photoshop training courses to users at all levels, teaching everything you need to use this powerful tool. We run regular scheduled Photoshop training courses in Central Birmingham, and can provide on-demand Photoshop training (one-to-one or for your group) at your venue anywhere in the UK.

Our Photoshop courses are Adobe-accredited. Our Photoshop trainers are Adobe Certified Instructors (ACIs), and Adobe Certified Experts (ACEs) in Photoshop. All Photoshop training is suitable for Windows and Mac users alike.

Course objectives

Provides the essential knowledge you need to create and edit images. Training covers all key tools and features. The techniques taught include colour correction, working with layers, compositing images and preparing images for use on the Web.

Advanced Adobe Photoshop training

Duration

Two days.

Course objectives

Extends your range of basic skills, teaching advanced techniques that encourage creativity with Photoshop. This includes using text objects to create complex clipping masks, assembling montages and panoramic scenes, and working with 3D shapes.

Who should attend?

Graphic designers who have already attended Introduction to Adobe Photoshop, or have previous experience with Photoshop.

General course information

Method of delivery

Photoshop training combines lecture, demonstration and hands-on practice. Delegates have ample opportunity to discuss their specific requirements and issues with the trainer.

Courseware and certification

Armada is an Adobe Authorised Training Centre (AATC), and our Introduction to Adobe Photoshop training course syllabus follows that recommended by Adobe. Delegates receive comprehensive Adobe courseware to refer to throughout the course, and to use as a refresher following the course. Delegates also receive a certificate confirming they have attended and successfully completed Photoshop training.

Trainer details

The trainer for this course is an Adobe Certified Instructor (ACI) and Adobe Certified Expert in Photoshop.

After course support

Delegates are entitled to 30 days email support from their trainer to help with any post-course issues.

Course times

Scheduled courses at Armada begin at 9.30am; we ask delegates to aim to arrive at around 9.15am for refreshments ahead of starting. The training day typically finishes at around 4.30pm.

When and where?

On-demand Photoshop training (one-to-one or for your group) can be provided on a date and at a location that suits you, which may be one of our venues in the Birmingham area or your venue anywhere in the UK.

Which versions of Adobe Photoshop are covered?

Scheduled Introduction to Adobe Photoshop courses are currently based on Photoshop CS6. The course is also suitable for users of Photoshop CS5 and CS4 - the use of Photoshop at introductory level hasn't changed significantly between the different versions and the trainer will be happy to explain any differences.

On-demand Photoshop training courses can be based on any recent version of Photoshop.

How much does Adobe Photoshop training cost?

These prices are inclusive of all relevant Photoshop training course documentation, refreshments and a buffet lunch.

The on-demand fee quoted is for Photoshop training courses based at our training centre. Please contact us for a price for running this course at your venue, or any other Photoshop training options you may be interested in.
